Early registration will close May 8th (after that you can register on the WISW site starting May 15th if space is left).
Topic:
Get into the nitty-gritty of how raglan shaping works with designer Aimee Sher. Learn about how different parts of a raglan construction work together to create the desired fit around the upper torso, including the armhole and neck shaping. We’ll be talking about how simple changes and knitter math can be used to achieve a better fit for different body types and adjustments. Due to the time limitations, we will not be going over specific math on how to work modifications, but you’ll come away with a framework on how to design your customized fit based on your unique needs, using any pattern.
Skills Needed: Intermediate to Expert - Students should have experience with the craft and be ready to move into a place where they may be challenged. This class is designed for knitters who are comfortable with sweater construction and have knit at least one raglan construction sweater.
Cost: $65 (to be paid directly to WISW after registration, see important notes below)
