Anette Karlsson is a Swedish skinnfell maker, Gotland sheep breeder, veterinarian and crafter. She has been a professional skinnfell maker for the past nine years and began her craft journey while living on a farm in central Sweden. Anette has been showing her artwork in many judged art and craft shows across the country, including One of A Kind Show in Chicago and at the American Craft Council in Baltimore. Today, she lives on a family farm in northwest Michigan where she raises Gotland sheep and is making an increasing number of skinnfells for customers across the U.S. Her interest in teaching has taken her to twenty-five states and she is a regular instructor at sheep and fiber events and private venues. When not working with animals or making craft items. One of her crafts is knitting with her Gotland wool which she also sells on her website.
