Registration

  • We'll start by anonymously exchanging yarn at the October 14th meeting, knit for our recipient over the next 7 months, and then it all culminates with the "big reveal" at the May 11th meeting. You provide 400 - 600 yards of yarn. you choose the yarn weight, texture, fiber content, and color(s). Your knitter transforms the yarn into a project inspired by nature.
Nature is wonderfully diverse: rocks, trees, flowers, sunsets, clouds, animals, birds, skies, seas, lakes, rivers, and precious gems have all inspired countless thousands of intricate stitch motifs and beautiful designs. You can choose from a myriad of patterns to create cowls, hats, mittens, shawls, scarves, pillows, or purses or you can design your own, unique creations!
    We hope you'll join us!

Brown Bag Exchange

19th Annual Brown Bag Exchange

This year's Annual Brown Bag Exchange theme is "Inspired By nature". The Brown Bag Exchange ( aka BBE) is a MKG tradition that encourages members to learn or perfect a knitting technique, make a new friend or two (or more!!!!), and have fun!

Due to Covid-19 the BBE reveal is being postponed to the fall or perhaps next May. Watch the newsletter and check back here for updates.  Thank you for your understanding.
