Description: Try tapestry weaving and discover the unique characteristics of this ancient technique. Students will weave a small tapestry landscape using a variety of yarns from novelty to hand dyed. We will discuss loom set up, the basics of tapestry weaving, and how to approach designing a simple landscape. The instructor will provide looms and warp yarn, discuss the finishing of tapestry, and show examples of her work. All levels of experience are welcome.
