Learn basic cable stitch and several variations and how to read cable diagrams.  We will also discuss various projects for cables. Homework will be sent with registration confirmation.

Homework:  Create a swatch: using a smooth, light colored medium weight yarn, cast on 30 stitches on straight/circular needles (size 6-9). Knit in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) for 5 rows. Leave stitches live on a needle.

Bring your swatch with stitches live on the needles and a set of double pointed needles the same size (or smaller) OR bring a cable needle with you to class.
