This year's Knitting Safari is planned as a one-day adventure to the YarnCon--Chicago's Indie Fiber Fair, with a stop along the way at KNIT ONE PURL TWO in Rockford, IL.

YarnCon is a community of people brought together by their love of yarn. More specifically, a room full of fantastic vendors selling their handmade and hand-dyed yarn, hand-dyed roving and batts, accessories and tools for spinning, knitting, crochet, weaving, and felting, patterns, and lovely and unique finished objects. Plan to hop on the bus for a day of fiber fun! Trip cost is $35.00.

Schedule
8 am Bus leaves from the Dutch Mill Park & Ride

9 am Arrive at Knit One Purl Two in Rockford

10:30 am Board bus to head to Chicago

12:30 pm Arrive at Plumbers Union Hall in Chicago for YarnCon

4 pm Board bus for return to Madison

7pm Arrive back to Dutch Mill Park & Ride
