Please join us for an MKG Programs discussion.
When: Sunday, August 18 from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
RSVP appreciated but not required
Location: Verona Public Library
500 Silent Street
Verona, WI
Description:
Do you enjoy the programs at each of the MKG monthly meetings? Would you enjoy meeting and working with some of the knitting “superstars” who come to speak or teach for MKG? Have you been looking for a way to get more involved with MKG, meet new people, and have fun? Do you want to hang out and knit on a Sunday afternoon?
If you said yes to any of these questions or if you’re interested in learning more about how the monthly programs come to be, the Programs committee would love to have you join us for a brief meeting on Sunday, August 18 at 1:00 PM. We will be hosting the meeting at the Verona Public Library. You'll find us knitting in the community room. All are welcome to come and learn more about what the committee does and how you can help us continue bringing fresh, exciting programs to MKG each month.
Attending the meeting doesn’t commit you to being on the committee! We would, of course, love to have you join the committee, but the intention is to allow you to learn more and decide if Programs is where you want to share your time and talents!
**A reminder that the Board is still in need of a chair for the Programs Committee, so if you have thought about volunteering for programs and/or the Board, please come to the meeting and we can talk!**
We look forward to seeing you on August 18 at the Verona library! If you have questions or are interested in the committee but can’t attend the meeting, please contact Kay Simmons mailto:klsimm6183@gmail.com.
