This is a great class for learning the basis of brioche knitting, which creates a beautiful vertical stripe, a thick, cushy fabric (especially useful for a fingering weight yarn), and a great, useful basis for cowls, hats, scarves, and more! Starting from 3 rows of garter stitch in the round, we will build 2 color brioche, creating a beautiful, adaptable, & useful cowl!
Homework and class supplies:
Please bring 2 balls of worsted weight yarn, solids or totals, that are highly contrasting to each other. Using size 7 or 8 16” circular needle, cast on 90 stitches, join to work in the round, & work 3 rounds in garter stitch.
