Simple Hair Elastic Yarn: Approx 6 yards of Koigu Handpaint sock yarn Crochet Hook: US E or F Materials: 1 heavy hair elastic band (without a metal band, if possible) Instructions: Make a slip knot, with a double strand of yarn, and place it on your crochet hook. Work single crochet, inserting hook through middle of elastic band, so that it becomes encased by the stitches. Continue until the entire elastic band is covered. Tie off, and weave in ends.
