Sizes: Child (CO 77 sts), Small Adult (CO 93 sts), Large Adult (CO 97 sts)
Yarn: 3.5 ounces (100 grm) skein worsted-weight yarn
Knitting Needles: US #8
Pattern: Multiple 4 + 1
Instructions:
Row 1: *K2, p2, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 2: *P2, k2, rep from * to last st, p1.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 for 7.5”(child); 9”(small adult); 10” (large adult)
Begin Decrease
Row 1: *K1, p2tog, p1, repeat from * to last st, p1
Row 2 and 4: *P1, k2, rep from * to last st, p1.
Row 3: *K1, p2, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 5: *K1, p2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 6: *P1, k1, rep from * to last st, p1
Row 7: K1, *k2tog, rep from * across row
Row 8: P across row
Row 9: *k2tog, rep from * across row (if there is an uneven number of sts, knit the last st)
Finishing: Cut yarn and leave end of yarn for sewing. Draw the yarn through sts on needle several times to anchor. Then draw up tight. Sew the side seam. Trim with a pompom if desired.
