Description

If you love color and want to bring more color into your yarns and knitting, knowing how to create ombre, gradient, and marled yarns will broaden your spinner’s toolbox! Learn techniques on hand cards, blending boards, blending hackles, and the drum carder for preparing fibers that will give you color control in your spinning and result in yarns with clear, lively color, perfect for knitting.

Student should be comfortable spinning wool.

Supplies Needed

  • Students should bring: spinning wheel/bobbins in excellent operating condition. There is no preparation needed for this workshop.
