Description

Hand cards are an under-appreciated and underutilized tool for hand spinners. We have visions of sitting for hours and hours laboring to hard card fiber to spin. What if our hand carders could become an easy, fun, and fast tool for blending colors to spin? A tool we might actually want to reach for to blend and prepare fibers? We all have a fiber stash of dyed braids, tops, and rovings. Put your hand cards to use and learn to get the most out of your stash.

We will learn to make striped, ombre, gradient, tweed, and marled yarns using our humble handcards. You’ll be amazed at what you can create!
